  • Carpet cleaning is the removal of dried soil, stains, and bacteria from your carpet's fibers. This differs from regular vacuuming because vacuuming targets the surface layer of your carpet, while carpet cleaning aims for the deeper carpet fibers where various bacteria attach themselves. For residential spaces we typically work with our portable steam cleaning machine and save the truck mounted machine for more commercial cleaning cases.

  • None. All of our cleaning products are green. You can be sure that our cleaning services are safe for your children and pets.

  • Dry times depend on the size of the cleaned area and on the particular services performed. For the average bedroom you can expect between 12-24 hour drying time. Naturally, the bigger the space, the more time it takes to dry. Your technicians will be able to give you a more specific dry time.

  • Our service is guaranteed. If you are not satisfied with our service we will happily return to try again. There are substances that can permanently discolor the carpet fibers. The age of the carpet and the type of carpet fibers also plays a factor in this. The technician will try to determine if this is the case prior to cleaning but they are not always able to determine this before trying to remove the spots.

  • We use the hot water extraction method. This method is preferable to typical DIY methods because the hot water extraction machine sprays hot water while sucking it out simultaneously, removing any soil and leaving no residue behind. DIY methods do not take into account the risks of detergent residue and remaining water on a carpet and offer no reasonable way to remove them should they occur.

  • Our technicians are glad to move any light furniture, like sofas and end tables, however for liability purposes and in order to protect you from incurring financial responsibility we cannot be responsible for heavier furniture, like bookcases and grandfather clocks. In these kinds of situations our technicians will work around these pieces.

  • On average, it will take approximately 45-60 minutes per room. This time can vary greatly depending on the amount of furniture to be moved, how soiled the carpet is, and any necessary spot removal treatments.

  • Of course! A good cleaning can remove some of the tough stains, including stains resulting from pet accidents and children.

    In addition, we use a protectant that will enhance a stain resistance on fabrics and provide a protective barrier form future spills and accidents.

  • The general rule is every 8 to 12 months. However, always check with the manufacturer’s recommendations.

    If you have kids and pets in your home, you may want to up the frequency by cleaning a few pieces of furniture at a time. Items such as couches, large chairs, dog and cat beds and furniture, and even mattresses.

    Agitate

    Use a electric scrubber to gently scrub the area back and forth

    Purpose: Breakdowns stubborn contaminants

    Hot water extraction

    Use the high motor to uproot the contaminants for good from the area being cleaned.
